Fair Oaks Farms in northwest Indiana estimates it is taking 2 million gallons of diesel fuel off the road annually by converting the 1.5 million gallons of manure its cows produce daily into natural gas. That gas fuels its fleet of tanker trucks using Cummins Westport natural gas engines and much of its operations. Soon the dairy’s sustainability story will be available on cummins.com.
